Got a Schmidt-Rubin K-31 Today!

Had to have one after following a Schmidt-Rubin Discussion Forum for some time:D

Anyone else on this forum an admirer of these fine weapons?

I have an M96/11, which is (with the possible exception of my Eddystone Model 1917) the most accurate milsurp rifle I own...

I love mine. :D

I see that AIM has them on special. What do you do for cheap ammo / reloading?

Love my K-31. Make sure to look up the tag under the butt plate.

As for ammo, last batch I bought was from SOG.

I don't have one... yet....

Are you going to reload for it? Ammo cost was the only thing keeping me from getting one.

I bought my first K31 and was so disappointed that it didn't have anything under the buttplate that I bought another one and it didn't either. :mad:

I was at a Big Five the other day and was talking to the clerk about a K31. He admitted to me that he had removed the buttplate of every rifle they got in.

There's a buttload of surplus Swiss and commercial Portugee ammo on the market right now. If ammo cost was holding you back, now's the time to buy, before we're reduced to buying Norma softpoints again... :eek:

I think AIM has the best deal right now. The K31 is at $90 w/ free shipping to the 48. 60rnds of 7.5 Swiss @ $23.


SOG has the K31 for $110, and 60rnds 7.5 Swiss @ $24.

Century only has cracked stocks.
