Picked up the ''twin'' today

Hardly of great interest but ....... today picked up a P97DC .... having had it on lay-away a while. No chance yet to shoot it in but ... I am pleased particularly because this is all but a clone of my P95DC .... fits my Fobus (and Bianchi sho rig) the same and handles ergonomically the same.
This will I feel give me a good option for my auto carry choice, once I have picked up a mag pouch, because either gun feels familiar .... as long as its shooting habits are sufficiently close then I find this ''twinning'' a good proposition.
Anyone else have both? I guess many multiple Glock owners have a degree of this twinning bonus.

I had the KP97dc first and then this year I bought a P95 blued manual saftey. Love them both. Still havent shot the P95 much yet. Gotta get out but looks like rain this week...It is nice having two guns that feel very similar. Even fit in most of the same holsters!!

any tips to shoot the 95 accurately? i found that i have to align the sights and put the target above the front sight.

Congrats on the twin! ;) Having the similarity is a big comfort when it comes to your SD guns...careful tho, it might become difficult in trying to figure out when to stop...triplets, quads, etc :D

I don't mind that too much cos whether I use that or even my snubby (which shoots a tad to left) ..... I always take a slightly lower aim in close up rapid .. mainly to compensate for a near inevitable rise of second shot and subsequent shots.
if it came to the ''real deal'' I have confidence I'd be still puttin the shots in where they matter!

Not a twin, but I've had GAS* for a Walther P99 to act as a big brother to my P22.

Gudel ...... most of time I practice with my homeloads ...... 125 grn RN in front of 5.5 grns Vit N 340 ..... not a very hot round but cycles OK. I must confess I have not done full testing tho with my 147 Fed Hydrashocks at distance ... they, despite being heavier, still have very similar POI as the lead 125's close in .... and so I am satisfied they'll do the job.
I think if I was going as high as you at 35 yds I'd consider maybe practicing with the foresight dot being held below the two on rear sight ..... I always just ''line em up''! Mind you, I am always surprised how we can all shoot slightly differently with the same gun ...... another factor.
