There are several frame holding fixtures available for the 1911. Which ones are recomended?

The following from SDM and it is $66.

The following is from Weigand Comat and it is $64.

Of course, you may also need a mag well filler for $30 from Brownells.

The following from Power Custom is for $73 comes with both a frame holder and a mag well filler.

I was thinking of just getting the Power Custom rig for $73 and skipping the others for now. Does this seem reasonable for a caspian 1911 build? Does anyone have experience with any of these?

Thanks.

The one I made years ago looks about like teh powers custom model.
The mag well filler is even adjustable so it stays in by screw pressure (it is split and expands front to back).

Depending on what all you are going to be taking on in your caspian build it is likely that you wouldn't need any of them.

That said I use the power custom a fair bit but almost never by it's self. I am usually using half of it to hold the frame against an angle block. or the back half of the magwell filler completes my jig for front strap treatments.
