Could someone please post some online places to purchase handguns.
I have found my local shop to be EXTREMELY expensive and WAY out on prices.
THANKS

www.auctionarms.com a lot.I buy mostly used but there's plenty of new guns and dealers to chose from.

www.gunfinder.net
You'll still have to deal with a local FFL...

I think there is a site called thegunsource.com (http://thegunsource.com) . I have never ordered anything from them though...

Another vote for gunfinder.net
It's hard to beat 10% over cost
I have a local dealer that gives me the same deal so I dont personally use them, but 10% over cost ROCKS.

I sometimes question their "cost" as gunfinder's offerings are often available for less from other sellers.
www.cdnninvestments.com is link michiganfan couldn't remember. :D

KY Imports doesn't update their page often, but their prices are good and you can call them about whatever you're looking for.
I got my AK from J&G Sales, they are a great bunch of people and I would do business with them again.
I haven't bought anything from Kielser's Wholesale, but I'm told that they are a good company. They always have good prices in their flyers.
Definitely go to CDNN and download the catalogue, it's got some good stuff in it. Brand new FN Hi Powers for $299!? I've done business with them several times, and plan to again in the future.
edit: Oh yeah, GU Wholesale (http://www.guwholesale.com) has good prices. Their stock is dwindling, but worth a look.

I don't find gunfinder.net's prices to be so hot, for example, I recently bought a new s&w 625 5" revolver, my local gun store charged me $551 + tax..
gunfinder.net has it listed for $614, plus
another $23 for shipping.. If thats 10% over dealer cost, then their dealer cost sucks and my local shop is getting a much better deal from their distributor.
Their Glock prices seem to suck too, compared to what I see them for locally.

After comparing prices, I must retract the gunfinder plug.
Looks more like they are cost + 20-25%
I guess the best bet is to find an honest local guy.
Here is a price comparison between a sporting goods store and my 'local' guy:
NIB G17 @ sporting goods store: $681
NIB G17 @ my local guy: $490

LoL gunfinder....cost +40% is more like it.
They're usually the most expensive on gunbroker too.
http://www.cdnninvestments.com has the lowest prices all around because they're a distributor, so if you buy from them you're eliminating the middle men.
Last year they were selling SIG P225s for around $425 I think and they went pretty fast.
The second to lowest prices place on the net it http://www.sportingarms.com
Their prices are ALWAYS the lowest for any company that isn't a distributor to consumer like CDNN.

If you are using GUNSAMERICA watch out for STAPLES TRADING POST in Main. This guy is screwing me on a missrepresented pistol. When I called him on it he said send it back for a refund. Stupid me! Now I have no pistol no money. The good news is after buying over 20 guns over the internet I have only been burned once.

I have bought from CDNN, AIM, Gunbroker, Auction Arms, FAC Guns, and SOG and probably bought over 15 guns in the last couple of years. I have never been burned and just about every time I paid less than I would have at a dealer or a gunshow, sometimes several hunderd dollars less!
If it is a matter of $50 or less it is not worth my time but if it is more than $50, I will go through the hassles. My dealer only changes me $5 for a transfer so it pays to shop on the net.

I have bought several guns through gunfinder. They have good prices for some guns and bad prices for others. The key is to shop around. The advantage that gunfinder had for me was that it is about 20 miles from where I work, so I can just go there and pick it up. There prices for some guns were certainly better than any local dealer that I checked out.
CDNN is great and so is gunsamerica. The key is to be patient and check as many sources as you can find.

Another vote for www.gunsamerica.com. I have had good smooth transactions from ones I have delt with.
A friend has used www.cdnninvestments.com on numerous occasions w/ good results.
Another good shop is www.budsgunshop.com . The people there have always been very friendly and willing to help. Transactions have been smooth and as promised. Satisfaction level was high.

Slabside
