The Question I have is on the Price of a SIG P239 (Used). Pistol is in good condition.

Local shop is asking $550 for it, which I think is too high.

What would be a GOOD price to offer?:confused:

I have seen them online in the mid-$400s. I have just concluded a deal for a very slightly used (less than one box through it) P239 with four factory magazines for $500.

Thanks... This one only had 2 Mags. and Mags aroung here are $50 ea. So maybe I will offer $400-450 :confused:

Your thinking is absolutely correct.

It depends on the caliber. If 9mm, then anywhere in the mid to high $300's. If .40 S&W, then $400 to $450. If .357 SIG, then it might be the same or a little higher than a .40.

If it has the SIGlite sights, you could add around $80 to $100 to any of the above.

So a .357 SIG with SIGlite and 2 mags may just be worth that $550, but not any more than that.

I bought my NIB Sig P239 9mm for $500 even.

Talk them down.

Yes it was a 9mm.

I decided against getting it. I figured I would buy a much needed Gun Safe 1st. Hopefully I will get it tomorrow. :D

A late chime-in here...a couple of months ago I picked up a gently-used P239 in .40 for $429, with just two mags. Had to fork over another $35 for third (brand-new) mag.

$550! Last one they had in my favored shop (last one I saw anyway) was priced at $425. And it was there for a couple weeks.
