I was at sportsmans warehouse today in Loveland, CO, and they were having a red tag sale. I found a Fox Predator II folder that had the USMC logo etched onto the blade for 69.95, down from 139.95. It seemed like a well made knife, so I bought it. Did I get a good deal, or am I just a sucker for the Eagle, Globe and Anchor?

Fox is an Italian company and they make perfectly good knives. The also OEM for several American companies and the knives they make are perfectly good knives.

The whole USMC thing is a marketing tool since they've never made knives that were issued with the U.S. military.
