Just cleaning up a Vz24 Czech/Romanian Contract rifle. Bore is good enough to warrant a scope, and I'm looking for recommendations for a "no-gunsmith"
mount what takes Weaver-type rings and won't require modification of the rifle.
They are great, handy rifles, and this was the first one I have seen in a while.
Any experiences ?

I had the B-Square on a VZ24. Utter garbage. The main problem is that tigtening the set screws will actually bend the scope base/rail. The base design is flawed. The only other scope mount I know of is the S&K which should be good. http://www.scopemounts.com/

Thanks for that information. The B-Square I saw online was about $79, too much for a mount that doesn't hold.
