Places got car-bombed sometime overnight, but I really haven't had time to look into this any further. Saw first blurb on this on the early [6:00 AM] news today.

Indications are that Al-Qeida (sp?) is back.

Exactly why we must not rest on our laurels both here and overseas. The evil must be rooted out.

I think we need a re-supply of troops and take a left turn into Saudi Arabia and Syria and clean these SOB's out once and for all. The Iranians will just sit back and quake in their boots afraid to do anything.

Look back to WWII and see what we and the Brits were willing to do to end hostilities. They talk about Hiroshima and Nagasaki. These were relltively tame events compared to the horrific fire bombings of Dresden Germany and Tokyo. These terrorists have no education and therefore they have no idea who they are messing around with.

Aw, come on, guys. You hear that someone is blowing up Americans in the capital of Saudi Arabia and you assume Al Qaeda? This is going to be another justification for Bush's jingoistic war-mongering, you mark my words.

Besides, you'll never kill all these freedom fighters. What we have to do is introduce a massive aid program, declare Bin Laden the rightful ruler of Saudi Arabia, and convince the Israelis to relocate to Poland. That would bring lasting peace and stability in the region.

At least, that's what I heard on the news.

In-Depth Coverage

By Stephen J. Hedges

Marking the end of an era, the United States will soon withdraw about 7,000 U.S. military personnel from Saudi Arabia and terminate a significant military presence there that lasted more than a decade, Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld announced Tuesday.

Perhaps they already have something in the works?

Islamic terrorist savages need to be put down like rabid dogs whenever and wherever they show up.

Wow, shocking! A Wahhabist, terrorist attack in the base of The Base.

At least their supply lines were short (from the Saudi Royal Family to the housing complex). Wonder which prince the VIN numbers come back to?
