I just bought a Ruger P345, my "welcome home from Iraq" present to myself. I already own a Taurus 111 Millenium Pro 9mm, and Im looking for opinions on home defense ammo. I was wondering if the full copper load from Cor Bon is a good one. I have always carried Hydra-Shoks in my 9mm. I have been considering maybe a +P load, but Im concerned about overpenetration. What is everyone's recommendation? Thanks in advance...

Dave

I have a Glock 30 that I keep loaded with Taurus 185 gr. HEX all copper loads.
They are not +P loads but will still expand to .75 inch in water soaked newspapers.

There have been some listed on gunbroker.com for around $12.70/box.

I haven't shot any yet but the Corbon DPX load gets very good reviews. I'm planning on trying a box in my BHP soon.

As long as you fire a couple of boxes and don't get a failure!
