I have seen vibration reducers that slip on gun barrels to make it more accurate.

Assuming they work wouldnt completely encasing the barrel in a sheath of rubber reduce vibrations by alot?

I have one on my CZ in 17hmr that the rifle came with. I have not been able to tell that it does a thing to improve accuracy. But I leave it on because it is great for protecting the finish on the barrel when leanin the rifle against a tree in order to pee or when crossing a fence.
