I'm not big into politics, but the ease of emailing Senators and Reps. have encouraged me to be more active. Anyway, I emailed Blanch Lambert and was pleasantly surprised by her response.

Thank you for writing to me about the Protection of Lawful Commerce in
Arms Act (S. 659).
I am pleased to inform you that I am a co-sponsor of this legislation. I
do not feel gun manufacturers should be held liable for the reckless and
illegal actions of third parties. Furthermore, I have serious
reservations about attempts by some to impose legal restrictions through
court decisions that could not be achieved legislatively by elected
officials.
There are many firearms in this country today, yet only a tiny fraction
of them have ever been used in the commission of a crime. I believe it is
the intent of the user, not the gun, that determines whether that gun will
be used in a crime. There is no evidence that this bill would do anything
to curb gun violence in this country. This bill will protect law-abiding
American businesses from having to spend time and money defending
frivolous lawsuits.
Again, thank you for taking the time to write to me. If you need
anything further, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Sincerely,
Blanche L. Lincoln
