I just recieved my first Khukuri, a very gracious gift from someone over at Blade Forums. It is a 18" M43 from Himalayan Imports (http://www.himalayan-imports.com/), WOW what a blade, now named Taker (I don't usually name things, but this is a hand-made blade, endowed with 'spirit' by its maker, kami Kumar, and blessed in special Hindu cerimonies - and good blades like this deserve names) that is 12+ inches long,7/16 of an inch thick along the spine and 2+ inches wide at the widest part.
It fits my hand well, balances nicely and cuts like crazy.
