Just looking around for full-cap mags for my PT92, found a website with 15-30round mags $24.95 - $36.95, prices seems decent....but I've never had luck with pro-mag and I suspect these aren't any better?

CDNN has 15 round Mec-gar mags for $35.
They don't get much nicer than that.

Well, I know the mec-gar's are nice.. I just had to ask cause for the same price I can get a 30rd!
Are you saying the 'mega-mag' are junk? Or not sure? I tried searching da net, but 'mega-mag' get's a ton of hits ;-)
And they do get nicer, $9.99 10rds on sale there (when I ordered).. now if they'd just put the 15rd mags on sale...weee!

The only two hits that I got on "mega-mag" were for steel AR mags and 30 round HK91 mags, neither of which have a good rep.
Beyond that, I've never heard of the brand, so I can't comment. But one would think they might have heard of the product if it was decent.
If I use aftermarket, Mec-gar first (and they are actually OEM), and maybe Promag, with new springs. Occasionally, off the wall mags like ramline will work well. This place has PT92 Ramline 17rd. flush mags for $30:

Just found a link for factory Taurus 15 rounders for $30:

Generally, they are worse. The only manufacturers that I know of that made to ultra-hi-cap mags were outfits like USA and Triple K. Overwhelmingly poor mags. You do find a shooter here and there on rare occassions that have had good luck with them. I was never one of those. None of the shooting people that I personally know and have tried them (including the normal capacity mags) were either.

Thanks for the info, I think I'll stick with mec-gar and factory only. I sent a couple of pro-mags back to them because they don't work at all in my wife's pt111.. the guy said he'd send back some that work..
we'll see about that ;-)
