I recently received a Winchester Model 12 12guage pump shotgun and I was wondering its value, as I do not need a shotgun and someone has offered to buy it. Its serial is 1916415.

That gun was made in late 1961, one of 127945 produced that year.

There were many versions of the Model 12, and value varies considerably. A plain Model 12, 12 gauge, 2 3/4 gun will bring a top of $700 or so, less if showing wear or if non-functional. An average price would be in the $400-500 range, purely as a shooter. Prices may go higher in some areas where the gun is really liked.

There is collector interest, but mainly in the upper grade guns with engraving or special features.
