I'm considering buying some Berrys 240 gr FP for a 9-10 grain Unique charge for a 4 5/8 Ruger SBH. Any experience/advice with similar 44 mag loads? Thanks.

From Berrysmfg.com FAQ: I wanted to know more about plated bullets and found this at Berrys web site a few days ago. Hope it helps you.

"Velocities depend on the caliber, but as a rule of thumb, we recommend you don't shoot our plated bullets over 1200 feet-per-second. Our 44's actually shoot best around 1150 fps. 45's are generally good at 850-900 fps. Our bullets are not recommended for magnum velocities. ":(

I used Berry's 240 gr HP. The plating was coming off at 1078 fps. I found bits and pieces stuck in chrono diffusers. I would suggest these bullets for applications under 1000 fps. Anything I load over 1000, I use Hornady XTP JHP.
