I have a chance to buy this gun for $300. Is this a good deal?
Model 28 is N frame .357.

It would be in Wyoming.

That would be a reasonable price for a clean 4" 28-2. For a while prices on the 28s were getting ridiculous but in the past year or two they have backed off.

That's a good price as long as it's in good shape. I paid $350.00 for my 4" M28 a couple of years ago. Nice revolver. One of my personal favorites.

IMHO, $300 for the gun as pictured is a steal. They are great to shoot, N-frame quality, great carry revolvers is you don't mine the weight.

If that piece passes the tests in Jim March's sticky, then $300 is an exceedingly good deal.
