bad or good deal

tomorow im going to look at a marlin 30-30 with a gold triger and off set hamer. its pretty new only been took to the rang 3 times. its $ 175 bucks sould i get it or not?

Not a bad deal,about what Marlins sell for.Very good guns for the money,imho.

Good deal. Usually run $225 to $275 depending on condition. In about a month when deer season opens it will either be higher or gone.

That's a decent price for any used Marlin, even better for a hardly-used one. Around here it would be a $250 gun. I'd buy it.

is the model 336w the only model with the gold trigger?

$175 is a great price for an almost new 336. I think - but not 100% positive - that all the 336's have gold triggers. I am sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.
