Looking for a concealable kydex strong side holster that hugs the body and will hide the G19 I carry off duty. I saw Blade Tech has the sting ray and it looks promising. Also sidearmor makes a wide belt slide attachment for there owb's. Any experiences fellas?

I have never seen a fobus be concealable without a large cover garment. I want to be able to use a reasonable cover garment and not a tent.

come on nobody knows of someone besides Fobus? There has got to be someone that makes one?

If the Blade Tech StingRay holds the gun closer than their previous model, then I can't begin to imagine how unconcealable their previous model was. Haven't tried Sidearmor, yet. The only OWB kydex I've found that actually holds the gun close is the Uncle Mikes with the paddle attachment. But I don't like that one for various other reasons. And so the search continues.

I find that the BladeTech Stingray doesn't get the holster any closer than the Tek-lok attachment. That is, they're both way out there compared to a Galco Concealable (which I consider indeed concealable for an OWB). You might have a look at the Tucker (http://www.tuckergunleather.com/) Urban Legend or one of the Comp-tac (http://www.comp-tac.com/) offerings.

might try the Galco Matrix. I have 1 for my SIG220 with front and rear snap

on loops that conceals well. It's not quite as fast as other kydex holsters I

own though.

By "fits" do you mean FIST? Because that's what I use, FIST Kydex #1. I like it.

Fin designs looks really nice, expecially the snap on/off.

I found Comp-Tac to be very good. If you decide to order, tell them on the phone what you want it for and they will do their best to please you.

I tried a Sidearmor OWB, belt-slide... the one with settable cant for strong side or cross-draw. Didn't like it. Held the gun WAY too far off the body - no cover garment could come close to concealing it.

I bought a OWB Galco Matrix kydex holster for about $25 today.
It fit my Ruger P345, which is a very hard gun to holster right now.

Even with the whole gun OWB, it still conceals under an untucked polo shirt. I wear my polos a bit roomy though, so YMMV.

The only nitpick about that holster is that it's the type that only covers the middle of the gun, leaving the muzzle exposed.
Even so, I feel it's quite comfortable and secure. I was impressed.

I orderewd the M3X from Galco directly and it is a very good holster. I find it all depend on what pants I wear as the belt loops are in different positions and too far back shows the butt and too far forward makes it hard to draw from. Overall good holster though

BearClaw Holsters

BearClaw specializes in the concealability market.

Also consider Dan Hillsman holsters at http://www.hillsmanholster.com. I think Dan's holster's are a bit more utilitarian than BearClaw's, but also very top notch.

I have heard very positive things said/written about the Gideon holsters by their owners, especially where concealabilty is concerned - a major weakness in many Kydex/comparable designs on the market, ime.

A carry my P345 in a Galco Matrix OWB kydex, as I stated earlier.
It is easily concealable under an untucked polo shirt, though the exposed muzzle does creep out somtimes when I'm sitting.

For a nice leather IWB holster, see K&D Holsters (http://www.kdholsters.com/iwb-defend.shtml).
