Does anyone know the average service life of the G31? I was wondering if anyone shot theirs in the range of 10-20K rounds.

Honestly, from my Glock experience, unless you're pushing the limits of a hand load, your GLock will last a good long time & many many rounds

yeah I kind of figured that out of the 5 Glocks I bought :D But this 357 auto kicks hard, so probably it wont lasts as good as G17.

Yeah, I would think that the added umph of the 357 sig would wear on the firearm more than 9mm would...but really, by the time you "wearout" a Glock, you would have moved on to another one or something else entirely
If that is what's holding you back...don't. Just get one, shoot it & enjoy it! ;)

Gudel,
Doesn't the .357 SIG run at the same pressures as a .40?
Regardless, I think you'll get your money's worth out the Glock.

I have no idea about the pressure, but I do know it sure kicks hard :D
Although I have no part breakage ever in 5 Glocks, what parts do you guys keep as spare? I'm thinking the trigger return spring, slide lock spring and slide release spring.

357 Sig runs at higher pressures(40Kpsi) than the 40 S&W(35Kpsi)
