Is this wildcat worth exploring?

The idea is to get better range and balistics from a lever gun.
I like the 7-30 Waters, but I also want a bit more horsepower.
I want to do the Water's routine but with the .35 Remington cartridge. I would also like Hornady to produce their Evolution bullets for the the 7MM. If they played ball, then this could make a good cartridge for an 1895 Marlin, and would be a good rifle for out here in the west where ranges are quite long.
I've not seen anything like this in any wild cats I've found. Is this a worthy project? What does The Council think?

It would be fine, but the 7mm STE (7mm-08 40deg improved on 307 Win brass) is bit bigger than what you propose and easily converted from any 30-30.

Yeah, looks like the 7MM STE is pretty much the same thing. The .307 case and the .35 Remington case are very similar, with the .307 case being a bit longer.

Nevermind. :D
