Can I use '22 caliber' bullets (224 dia) with a 223 cartridge?

A 30 cal bullet for a .308?

yes, a "22cal" bullet is used in .223 rounds, that is the correct bullet

and the same with "30 cal" that is the correct diamter used in loading .308, 30-06, .300 winmag, etc.....
