Deep subject question here:eek:
I'd like to learn more about internal ballistics, smokeless powders, pressure, twist rates, black powders, primers, the whole enchilada .
Can anyone recommend a book(s) on the subject?

"Understanding Ballistic Basics" - should be a required read for every reloader. The author works very hard to provided simple information, backed up by mathmatical equation. You can skip over the math if you don't like it and just read it for the information. SC

Thanks for the reply and link. I see that it is not available but I'll look around for it. The book has mixed reviews but in the end even the nay sayers recommend it.

Another good tool for getting an intuitive understanding of internal ballistics is the program QuickLoad, available from NECO software.
