Is there a semi-auto that uses the 357magnum, that can also shoot out 38spl? Correct me if i'm wrong but the only 357magnum i know that shoots from a semi is a Desert Eagle.

There is a variant of the Desert Eagle that uses rimmed .357 Magnum cartridges. It's the only one I know of.

The Coonan is the only other one I've heard of. They weren't made in very large numbers, and may no longer be in production. You see them now and again at shows and auctions, but generally at collector's prices.

I had a Coonan with the 38 conversion kit. The kit consisted of a lower power recoil spring and a magazine with a spacer installed vertically in the rear. The factory specified that it be used only with +P ammo for reliable function. Worked ok, but the pistol was much more fun with full house 357's.
