I've been wanting a target pistol to have fun with for a while when these came out. I kept putting it off but finally got one today. It's not the two tone one, I got the solid black one. I can't wait to shoot it but I'll have to wait till Tuesday. :(

Anybody got one? What are your opinions or experiences?

Used to have one until recently, liked it just fine. Accurate and totally reliable with all kinds of ammo, although the grip may be too thin for some folks. Very easy to field-strip, lots of gun for the money. Congratulations, and enjoy the Buck Rogers Space Commander .22. :D

You really want to know? You're sure you want to know? Mine shot a FOOT high at ten feet right out of the box! With the sights cranked all the way down, it still shot six inches high atten feet. Needless, to say, I was very disappointed. Well, I tried it with all kinds of ammo and it fed all of it flawlessly, so it has LOTS of potential as a great pistol. Geez, how many feed EVERYTHING flawlessly anyway? That's a big plus. But it doesn't do any good if they're not even on the paper. Well, I called Beretta's customer circus and sat on hold for 30 minutes.:banghead: Then the most rude, unhelpful, unapologetic person just abruptly told me, "well, ya haf to send it back!" before I could even finish what I was saying!:fire: I am VERY upset with what Beretta calls "customer service." At this point, I wil NOT buy another Beretta firearm unless they make good on this big lapse in customer appreciation. I sent a 5 page letter with the pistol I had to return to them and a 5 page letter to the head office listing all my complaints. See, this is my first Beretta firearm, so you can see I already think they're selling a name here. I sent a little note along with my warranty regstration card pointing out the irony of the pistol needing repair beating the warranty card back to the factory. How d'ya like that?:banghead: Beretta better fix this thing right and offer something in the way of an apology for their lack of customer appreciation or this Beretta will be the last I buy. If it comes back the same POS it left as, I might just take a loss and trade it in for a Ruger (Which I should have bought to begin with. Boy o boy, should I have ever bought the Ruger, tell me!:banghead: :banghead: )

No fair asking about our experiences, now that you have one. Give us a range report so we know what yours is like.
From what I've read, the only consistant complaint is the trigger. Take down seems easy, it gets good marks for accuracy, and nobody has banged it around enough to report on durability.
Have fun and don't forget the range report!

My NEOS is reliable, even with junk ammo, accurate, and easy to shoot. It sits on the "won't sell under any circumstances" shelf in my safe and if I go to the range it goes without exception. The trigger gets better with age and it's a breeze to take down. I think you'll like yours. Please give us a report after it's first range visit.

I have one also. I also think the trigger could be a tad easier. I bought mine at Oshman's and they told me that one guy who didn't like his trigger sent it to beretta and they fixed it up pretty well. I don't know any details though. I am lookin to put some optics on mine because I don't like the factory sights at all. It seems to be a heck of a robust gun though. I only have about 200 rounds through mine. Also the feed ramp is very steep and it seems to dislike chambering from the magazine the first time a little. In hindsight I also wish I would have bought a Ruger as I have shot one in the past and had excellent results. I got the beretta for about $200 even though so I can't really complain.

Mine is also totally reliable. After 800 rounds and some Millitec-1 grease on the sear, my trigger has improved tremendously. Its iron sights were right on out of the box. I added a BSA red dot which increased the fun factor 10X.

Be sure to check out Paco Kelly's review at gunblast.com.

Picked up a Simmons 30mm red dot scope on the way home today. Now when I get to shoot the Neos I'll get to set the scope, too!
