The XD has a grip safety, the Glock does not.
I'm not sure what information you're looking for. Some say that the XD grip angle is close to the 1911.
I like both of them. I carry, shoot, prefer Glocks, but the XD feels good in my hand, too. Different, but good.
Go to a shop and pick 'em each up.:D

+1 to what was said above. and..............
the xd's is not gonna be as thick, or as irthy i guess you would say, for a double stack 45 it fits nicely in my hands, and i have small ones, it is only a tad bigger than my xd serice model in .40 and you can hardley tell the difference.

my problem with all glocks not just the big hinkin .45's is the fact that the grip is to big for my small hands and the grip angle is just not right for me.

If one enjoys the many other attributes of the Glock, the grip is easily modified to fit your hand.
