I really hope that this makes other manufacturers to take notice of this round...I really would rather it not die or become obscure. :(

There are some that simply say that it does nothing that a 308 can't do...


Only thing a 308 can't do is be shot out of a K-31....and I love my K-31....

I love all three of my K31's. Its odd, it feels like having 3 different girlfriends at the same time. No matter how hard I try, I just can't satisfy them all.:evil: :neener:

I doubt we'll see too many rifles chambered in it; it really doesn't have anything on .308 ballistically (it does get fired out of some fantastic rifles, but that isn't enough to get Remington making a 700 in it), so methinks it will stay a niche round.

However, we are seeing more manufacturers pick it up. It isn't going to be as predominant as even .303 British, but we shouldn't have too much trouble finding at least some ammo supply into the future.

while very true and I already reload for the 308 this was just something I just couldn't pass on.
most people that have contenders/encores that I know reload so the 7.5X55 should be a hit.from what was on the t/c forum they only made 21 match barrels for grafs:) :) and next week I will have one of them.
this one will see some hunting this year.
