just loaded some 148 hbwc for my mod 14 , used 3.0 gr of bullseye they seem to do pretty good! shot a 3/4 inch 10 shot group at 15 feet, after i got my sights set, this my be my load for the 4 inch 14 ,who else loads these and with what? looking for a realy accurate load *csa*

When I was shooting PPC back in the 70's and early 80's, I was putting 1,500 rounds of .38 HBWC's downrange every week in practice and 360 each weekend for matches. The standard load was 2.7 grains of Bullseye and the HBWC seated flush with the case mouth. It's an exceedingly accurate load out to 50 yards. The only caveat is to make sure you don't double or triple charge the case with those small amounts of fast powder. It makes your revolver grenade and upsets the other shooters. It happened to the guy next to me in a match and pieces went everywhere.
