I have a Stoeger condor that I love (so far) but I can't figure out the choke designation. Instead of the description printed on the choke tube saying "modified" or "cylinder" etc... there are notches cut into the end of the muzzle end of the tube. One has three notches and one has four. This gun came with no instruction manual and Stoeger website offers no info other than one should be modified and one should be I.C. but no clue as to which is which? Any help is greatly appreciated!

The instruction manual for the condor is no help. It doesn't mention the choke tubes. Easiest way to tell is the the modified will have slightly thicker wall than the IC. Or measure with calipers. The IC will have a larger inside diameter. You should be able to see the difference in wall thickness.

Stoeger's are compatable with Winchester Winchoke, Browning Standard Invector (not Invector Plus), and Mossberg Accu-Choke (for the Mossberg 500, not their Accu-Mag for the 835.)
