Hello, I have a Colt Government MkIV Series 80 pistol in .380 cal and would like to know when it was manufactured and what the approximate value is. It is the nickel plated version and the serial number is RS303XX. I would appreciate any help I can get. Thank you.

The only publicly available Colt serial number references end in 1985.
The last serial number shown for the Colt .380 Government Model was RC43609.
To get a production date on you gun, just call Colt during normal business hours, and they will give you a date over the phone.
They will NOT answer any other questions on your gun over the phone.
