for magazine holders? Just purchased a Blade-tech holster for my 9mm Sig 229. Works great. But, I'm having trouble finding mag pouches. I had Uncle Mike's double, not bad. Tried the molded (low end $18.00 a set) double Blade-tech and the fit was to tight. The side to side has no adjustment in that direction, just back and forth with the tension screw. Basically, the Sig double stack magazine was to tight (seemed to large) and hard to get out. Might work for conceal carry, but not competition. I'm not even sure I like double holders, maybe singles are better for belt placement. So, I need assistance from experience Production class IPSC shooters. I know some purchase all their gear for under $100.00. But, some mag holders alone can cost more than that amount. I'm open to all suggestions.

Ditto Comp-Tac. I use their single mag carriers for Production and 3-gun. My partner uses CRSpeed adjustable mag pouches, which are probably a hair faster (and more expensive.)

The Safariland 773 are down to about $22 each now and work great. Check with Chuck at www.shootersconnection.com for them.

Gary G23:
That belt-feed pouch looks neat. Do you think it would work as well as four singles or two doubles?
HSMITH:
The Safariland pouches don't appear to be made for Sigsauer mags.

The beltfed mag carrier is not legal for IDPA, and is questionable for USPSA.

Interesting comments regarding the legality of the belt-feed pouch. I'm not concerned about IDPA, but will be involved in IPSC. So, I'm still not sure, four separate mag holders, or two doubles. Maybe the costs difference will make my decision.

Only thing that I could see being a problem for USPSA is the 50mm rule. Belt gear can't hold stuff farther than that from your body. Those outside carriers might be pushing it on that measurement.

OH25, I am sure that one of the other models will fit fine. You can call Chuck at the link I put up and see if he has tried Sig mags in them.
