Where can I find a PDF manual for a Remington 11? I would love to know how to disassemble it, etc., since I have never used one. Pics to follow soon.

I bought a 35-year-old 1100 -- therefore I could just download the manual, since they still make it. But I've found Remington to be helpful, so if you can't find the manual easily, call them.
If you want to know about your gun (date of mfg., features that may have changed, etc.) just call them with the serial number. They told me what I needed to know about the old 1100 I bought (1971 Magnum receiver).

EDIT: Pics are up. I've never seen the inside of a Rem 11 or A5, is anything missing in the recoil spring department?

I had a 20-Ga Rem like that as a teen/early 20's age guy, IIRC, somewhere on it was stamped "The Sportsman".
Looks like all your recoil spring/friction ring parts are there, and it is set for "Heavy Loads". When shooting the very light "target" loads, those marketed for trap/skeet/clays, the brass friction ring goes next to the receiver.
Oh, yeah, that screw in pic #2 was burred up on my Brown-ington, too......

That's the kind of information I need; where can I get more tidbits like that (other than waiting for the manual?)

Do a search here on the "Remington 11" or on "recoil operated shotguns" and you will find some helpful information .
Information regarding inspection of the recoil buffer and bolt before you shoot the Model 11 , and information regarding how to maintain that friction set-up to keep the operation working smoothly.
Since the Browning A5 and Remington 11 were made from the same Browning pat. they are very simular so info on the A5 will mostly apply to the Remington as well.
