I got my CCW license in Louisianna and I travel out of state all the time (Its why I got the gun and the CCW) but I have done alot of reading and I get conflicting stories. Can someone break this down easily for me! If I have a CCW and I am going to a reciprocal state can it be loaded and concelealed? When I say concelaed I mean in the glove box or under the seat? Is there a website that breaks down the laws for each state with out the legal jargon!

handgunlaw.us (http://www.handgunlaw.us) has current information.

Much of the information at packing.org (http://www.packing.org) is out of date these days.

As wdlsguy said, www.handgunlaw.us is your best bet.

FL and Utah have the most reciprocity

True, but it's important to remember that with reciprocity, you are subject to the laws of the state in which you find yourself. Your home state might allow a CCW holder to carry a loaded pistol in the center console of your car, whereas another state might allow you to carry only on your person or in the glove box. (Just as a purely hypothetical example.)

Reciprocity is a good thing, but because each state's gun laws can be so very different, you really have to do your homework.
