Who made the American Arms SXS model Brittany? I know it was made in Spain but nothing else about it.

I don't have that one in my reference, but if it has proof marks it would be possible to find the manufacturer.

Those are hard to describe so I tried sketching them. See if this will be any help. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Those appear to be proof marks, not makers marks. Look on the water table (action flat) rather than on the barrels.

IIRC, the original American Arms guns were all made by DIARM, the short lived Spanish conglomerate. DIARM absorbed many of the smaller Eibar makers, as well as some of the biggies. I think AyA got caught up in DIARM, but managed to salvage their company and reputation after Diarms demise. There were a lot of skilled gun makers working for Diarm. Quality of the guns was pretty good, especially considering the prices at which they sold.

I have heard of some post-DIARM American Arms guns being made by Zabala Hermanos, but I can't confirm.
