Hi gentlemen, have a good day!
Do you have any hints about eyes protection when shooting? Not only brands (hoping I'll find it here in Italy), but also about shapes, I mean, I was thinking about ordinary glasses, but I saw at the firing line that the cartridges ricochet everywhere, maybe at side..do anyone use googles or it's too much :what: ?

I look for:
wrap around protection, that covers past the sides of the eyes;
some coverage above, should I not be wearing a hat;
You can use commonly availible safety glasses, like you would see in a machine shop and they will work. Or you could go for something purpose built.
You've already mentioned Oakleys - really good stuff, but pricey. What are your eyes worth?
Other options are:
Gargoyles, Uvex, Wiley, and companies not mentioned.

I wear OAKELY M FRAMES everyday I'm on the range. They are expensive, but they are comfortable enough that i will wear them ALL THE TIME....not constantly taking them on and off. You know what that means...if they aren't comfy, you will have them OFF when you really need them.
OAKELY's are tough....I have several lenses that have taken hits from clay target chips, pellets, bullet fragments, ect. They have ruined the lenses, but saved my eyes. Which leads to the other great thing about OAKLEYs...
The lenses interchange.....bright sun, put in VR28 lenses[dark brown].....cloudy or indoors, put in CLEAR. Scratch a lenses, ....change it out for a new one.
If you spend alot of time on the range, they are certainly worth it.
