Just piddlin' around in the back yard: 6 rounds of 5.45x39mm out of the SSG82, and 5 125gr +P Golden Sabers out of my 442.

Zero here .. will have to make up for it this weekend.

Always wanted to live in the country someplace where I could walk out my front door, empty the chamber of my revolver before my morning cup of coffee, ... sort of like reville.

Different day, different gun.

Maybe one day!

Morning spent at the range with a couple buddies. Between BS sessions spent piling it pretty deep, I managed to touch off 70 rounds of 44 Mag and four boxes of 22. Now I gotta clean and reload; what a vicious cycle. :D

1. See above, employment (indentured service?) means you're at work vs. shooting during the weekdays.

2. No place to shoot in this location.

3. The citizens aren't allowed firelocks.

4. Neither are visiting GI's.

5. Wouldn't matter, I'm learning firsthand what Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is all about. Flight surgeon's working on keeping me flying with it. Typing with the left hand is a riot, too.

Oh it felt so good too....100 rounds though my new to me Hi Point Carbine. One of our offices I have to go to to do some work sometimes is only 10 miles from the free gun range. So sounded like a perfect excuse to work out some tension. Been almost 2 weeks since I last shot....it felt sooooooo good.

300 For me! :neener:

Got to shoot my NEW CZ100 that I picked up on tuesday. I put 200 round thru it and not one malfunction. As many people have said, the gun does have a very long trigger pull, but was easy to get used too. Shot group were very nice. A very NICE Gun.

I also put 50 rounds thru my Colt Delta Elite 10mm, And 50 thru my (now don't laugh) Raven .25 :what:

All and All a VERY nice day at the range.

No rounds today, got to make some 8mm to play.

I'm loading 100 new rem 8mm cases with 168 grain cast lead bullets for my M48 Mauser. Just installed a Mojo front and rear peep and now working up loads to see just how good it can be! I have plenty of mil surplus 8mm, but an elegant as new M48 with new Mojo sights requires one to shoot up a hundred rounds of custom made loads -- makes a little shiver go right up my spine, if you know what I mean...

Once upon a time I was into collecting rifles, pistols, revolvers, shotguns, bayonets, knives, etc... Now I want to play with all the neat toys I have, reload for this or that. Is 2000 rounds of 30-06 too much? or 11000 rounds of other types of centerfire? .22LR don't count for much, so I don't count it. More powder and primers, I will need lots more. I must have more lead, too. Lead may be outlawed, so I must have more, much more!

No evil black rifle though. I live in the PRK and evil black rifles are not allowed for the common folk. I will require a shovel, too!

Not today. Did a total around 700 over the last two weekends and will be putting in another 300-400 this weekend and about 400 the next weekend.

I have bad habits and am investing heavily to break them. Want to be in focus from the first shot, watching the front sight like a hawk. The goal is to keep all 300 to 400 shots inside a group the size of the 10 ring at 7 yards DA offhand so I can allow myself to graduate to the 15, 25, 50 yard ranges and attempt the same thing. Not even close to what the bullseye shooters are doing one handed at 25 yards, but sufficient for this shooter.

Actually don't care where the shots go within safe margins as long as I can break those stinking habits. When the habits are tamed, all indications are that the above goal will happen.

What REALLY hurts are those five or six losers that are way outside the 7 ring.

Grrrrr!

Today was supposed to be my last day off, had to take my Wife to the ER when I got home! Dr. said she has to be off her feet until Wensday at least. No standing, minimal walking and no driving so I'll have to miss this 4 day work cycle to take care of the kids and be the Wife's servant. Hopefully it'll turn out to be nothing serious!

About 180. Some .22, some .45, and a lot of .223 from my Daewoo. I discovered that my 40-round USA mag really is a piece of junk. It gave me a failure to feed on the first 15 rounds (after that, I manually emptied it and loaded the ammo into a GI mag). I also shot down a thrown clay with the Daewoo. One throw, one shot, one hit. :D

Wonderful day here in MI! My Son and I shot .22 WMR @ 100 yds. for about 100 rounds. Shot about 50 7.62x39 at the same distance and then crept up closer and shot approx 200 rnds of 9mm and .45.
