Installing a ruger mark III trigger sear

I am trying to reassemble a pistol for a customer of mine. Somehow during cleaning his pistol, he managed to remove the trigger sear, spring and safety on this pistol. After doing some research, I know how the parts are supposed to fit inside the frame, but I cannot get them to go back into the frame and insert the pin to hold them in place (I actually think the frame has been bent, although I cannot confirm this)! Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Auburnman

There should be an exploded view in the owner's manual. I think Ruger has them on their company website and you can download it. Reassembly is a little tricky but doable. Most of my experience is with the older guns but the lockwork should be about the same.
If the sear, which should be a loose working fit, will not clear all the inside wall surfaces then the frame could indeed be bent. If the owner put the frame in a vise and cranked down on it to hold it in place, that would do it.
I won't bother to ask why he felt it necessary to detail strip it.
On the bright side I suppose he could put the whole thing in a cigar box and pay the overnight shipping back to Ruger to sort it out. Probably wouldn't be the first time.

I know guys that use a little dab of grease to hold the small parts in place while you work the pin through. Tricky, I know. I managed to do it a couple times dry before I heard about the grease trick. :D
