hello i am new to the board. would like to know uinfo. about a rifle i just recieved. it is a savage anschutz model 54 sporter .22cal with redfield 2/7 scope. ser.6774xx it is 95% cond. real nice gun. would like to know year mfg. and approx. value.am not considering it forsale, has been in the family for quite some time. or a place to find this info. thanks riverman

Savage imported Anschutz rifles from 1963 to 1981. I have no way of tying it down any closer by serial number, nor an idea of dollar value.
You could look on Gunsamerica.com Auctionarms.com and Gunbroker.com and see if any are for sale now.

I own one, traded for secondhand in the '80s, and it is a well made and accurate rifle.
