I know this topic has been covered before..but..does anyone know the measurement's for a shotgun to be legal (barrel lenth& overall) ? I have an older Stevens single shot that someone cut down to a 20" barrel, but am not clear on the overall lenth. Thanks Jack

Barrel length must be at least 18in and overall length at least 26in.

That's correct for the Feds. CHECK your local laws as well, as nothing stops a state or a county or municipality from legislating them longer, eh?
