Is there any body out there into W. German hand guns? I have a very rare 1968 unfired. Burgo apache 38 spl. in orig. box with maching ser. #s, all paper work,orig. cleaning brush, and a box of western X luboly ammo

Don't expect to get too much for it. What little I've been able to find out indicates it was an inexpensive pistol in its day.

Karl Burgsmuller ( Burgo ) was not a gunmaker but rather a distributor. I'm not famillar with the .38 Apache, however one firearm that bears his name is the Burgo .22, which happens to be a Rohm RG-10. Rohm also made large caliber handguns (.38 and .357). Is the Apache a Rohm .38. If so. being rare does not equate to valuable. It would be worth no more tha a NIB Rohm .38. Maybe 150 if it is NIB. I don't know if it is a Rohm or not, but I have my suspicions that it is.
