Looking to buy or build a Cap and Ball loading stand. These look like simple affairs but I can't find plans or a source of ready built loading stands.

Little help here. Are they all the same doesn't matter the model of pistol?

Someone have simple plans they would be willing to share?

Thanks,

This was made by a hobbiest and I bought it on an auction site. It may not be the best but it works just fine. :D

I have one of the Dixie stands and it works quite well for everything from a Pocket Police to a Dragoon. Get one.

I could also suggest a cylinder loading stand I bought from Powder, Inc. Expensive but works very well.

See this article on several options: http://www.curtrich.com/frontiersmen3.html
