I was at the gun club today and saw the dandiest shell catcher I have ever seen. Some guy had an aquarium fish net that was rectangular in shape and about 6" deep, he was shooting RH and holding the handle in the RH grip and the open net was next to the ejection port. Worked first time every time and was so simple. If you need to catch your empties you might give it a try.:cool:

One of the problems you will find it the compliance of the material and the bounce problem. If the material is too hard, then things like the 10mm will catch fine, but light rounds like the 380 auto will bounce off. If the material is too soft then it will melt (if not a cotton based or the like) when the brass catches.
