I went to the range with my friend yesterday, we took another friend that he's appliying for the sheriff department, so he can get use to handle and shooting guns.

I took my S&W 686 and my XD9, my friend who works for the government took his Colt Phyton, S&W and Sig, both in .40 cal.; also we rent a 44 Magnum. All of them, pistols and revolvers were nice shooters, even tough I was a little dissapointed with the S&W .40, the sights are very high and not very accurate, at all. The sig .40 was much better. However even tough is a different caliber the XD9 , in my opinion, was the best of all and most accurate. The sights on the XD are right there, and they are perfectly aligned.

I was reading in the Sprigfield site yesterday about the ergonomics of the XD:
http://www.springfield-armory.com/prod-xdpstl-xdetails.shtml

and I think it is really true, the XD is an excellent gun, in which ergonomics and accuracy is all combined in one gun.

I like the XD so much that I'm thinking in buying another one. :D
