Twenty was there for size comparison. It is something most yuppies have in their pockets already :-)

Gah...the lighting was bad, but here was a shot I took a short while back of my 3AT and two "mushroomed" Cor-Bon DPXs that I recovered from some wet newspaper:

No $20 included. Hmmmm...let's see....

"Keep your eyes open and pack a 3AT,
and you'll make it home and not be late...ey."

Ehhhhh.... :barf: :uhoh: :p I guess I don't have a future as a poet? :neener:

I've got one in my pants pocket as I write. Great little guns to stick in your pocket and forget about till it's needed. Mine's in an Ahern leather pocket holster.

...and you'll make it back home to your lady?

If yuppies have twenties, I must be on top of the world. I have nothing but $100 bills. :p

It is an aways carry gun in one of two rigs. UM #4 Pocket Holster or a Highnoon Holster Mr Softy.

Here is a pic of the little one.

Oleg really put that bill there to show off the sharp lines and make us mere mortals wish we could get that kind of depth of field on a macro subject.

I love mine. Was a gift from a friend the color rocks.
The color is a great test of CCW folks.
The armchair commando types think it is feminine, the hard core gunnies say if someone sees the corner in you pocket they will never figure it is a gun.

I'd heard of the P32 before reading this thread, but had never read about it nor handled one.

So after reading this thread, I went looking for more information.

I read several reviews about it, then found this one (http://www.sightm1911.com/lib/review/kel-tyke.htm) that ended with this line under "resources":

"Oleg Volk’s P32 Page – Oleg is a superb photographer and this page contains his photos and a narrative of his experiences with the P32. http://www.a-human-right.com/RKBA/p32/mousegun.html"

The link appears to be dead, however. "404 Not Found".

Interesting little gun.

I picked up a p-32 in a trade a while back. Not a primary but no matter what else I carry I always have the "pocket dweeb" You're local to me. Wanna give it a try? Maybe I need to try to set up a THR local shoot at my range......

Oleg,

I've always been a fan of your photography. Now, I'm also a fan of your writing.

I just read your essay on the P32 start to finish. That's an excellent review, IMO. Very well written: crisp, concise, complete, well-illustrated (of course  ).

(I have one minor suggestion about the essay, but I'll PM you with that.)

And best of all, your review has a happy ending. Sounds like Kel-Tec has had some design issues, but to their credit, they have kept on it and worked it out. Like editing an essay, the editors job is never quite finished.

I swore I was finished buying handguns for a while, but you've actually got me thinking about adding a P32 to my toolkit. Right now, my SW 642 is my smallest handgun. I bought it as a "pocket pistol", but found that it's just not comfortable for me (a relatively thin person) as pocket carry.

So, I carry it in the studio in an OWB holster. (Yes, folks, I carry it in my "home" studio in a bad neighborhood. I'm not a CCW permit holder yet, so it doesn't leave my studio.) The 642 is much more comfortable in a holster, and much less obtrusive than carrying my K9.

Still, once I get a CCW (this year; funds and time were very tight last year), I'd like to have a mouse gun for EDC.

I'm suspecting that will be a P32.

Thanks for your work, Oleg.

From several more years of using the P32, I can say that it is a good design backed by excellent service. P3AT handles similarly, but has no slide hold open, so I prefer the P32. The P32 has always been with me as a backup and I gave two as gifts.
