Hi Y'All....

Don't know if this is appropriate or not but I will pass some info along that might interest Y'All and accept my lashes if I've goofed.

I'm not connected to Dixie Gunworks in any way. But I just received a small order from them and the sales flyer they included says they have initiated a sales price of $250 on Uberti stainless Remington 44 revolvers in plain, and target, configurations. I think that might be a pretty good price.

If we aren't supposed to pass on any "finds" like this, please accept my apologies. :uhoh: Again, I'm not connected to DG at all.:)

They're only innapropriate because it just makes one more gun I'd like to get my hands on, but the budget doesn't allow at the moment....

The problem with Dixie's $250 Uberti 1858 is they never ship the things! I've had one on back order for months now. I started a thread about it some time back seeing if anyone else had ever got one from them. Apparently there had been some shipped last year. I've heard similar complaints from folks on other sites also.

I don't know if they're shipping factory seconds, refurbs, or what, but it seems they just never get them in. I also noticed that there was only one review on Dixie's site. I would figure a gun that good for that good of price would have had a bunch of reviews.

Thanks, Plink! Guess we can file this one in the "too good to be true" file.
