Who has had the grip slimmed up on their glocks? By whom and what model did you have done? I am considering a G21 and even though I have good size hands I was interested in having the grip slimmed so it fits more like my G17 or 19. Did the job change the way they point?

I have a Glock 21 and a 30 that I sent off to Robar for grip reduction. They did an outstanding job and while the grip is still a tiny bit on the thick side, it is ten times better than it was before.
I really dislike the big, tumor-like hump at the rear of magazine well on Glocks - that is removed when Robar does a grip reduction. Now I own two Glocks that actually fit the human hand - what a concept!:D
As far as point of aim/point of impact, I can see no change at all.
The only drawback is that if you want to use Crimson Trace lasergrips on a Glock, they will not fit after a grip reduction job. I can certainly live with that tradeoff, given how much better my Glocks are now - much more shootable and carryable.

A few of the guys I shoot with have done it themselves with a Dremel. :uhoh:
Turned out ok, but you need to be very careful. (Of course that's sage advice for anyone with a Dremel in their hands ;) )

Jim Garthwaite has done a couple. I've seen it. If I were to use a Glock, that's the only way I would.

Have you also considered buying an aluminum frame? They come with interchangeable backstraps.

This one was reduced and chopped. It will be featured in a popular magazine in the next month or so.
