This is the kind of crap we're having to deal with in my city. Thugs wanting to kill other thugs in our schools (I have no problems with them killing each other outside of schools - as long as no bystanders are hit).

Obviously the thugs have no intentions of following the law, but legal, CWP holders must disarm and leave their weapons at home. Why can't I defend myself?

My son is trying his best to stay home this last week of school. He is in E.L Wright Middle school in the NE side of town. He about ran away at the beginning of the school year because the local sherrifs deputys were teaching them about the gangs and how they recruit starting in the 6th grade. Guess all I can do is to teach him how to drop at the sound of gunfire and lowcrawl to cover.:fire: Being allowed to carry in a school zone wouldn't do any good here, since I'm at work and I sure as hell don't trust the bozo's that run that school to be able to use a gun properly.

Amen Scott. All we can do is hope the kids can find good cover, or had a good set of legs to run with.
