Hey, I've got this Winchester model 12 12 guage, and was wondering what's the best way to identify it. It has the standard 30 inch barrel, full choke, no rib, but it's got a checkered stock and a cheakpiece. No telltale markings on the gun. Serial number indicates it was made in '46 or '47. I think it's probably a basic field grade, but I want to make sure because I have gotten a couple of offers and I don't want to get robbed. Can anybody help? Thanks
