What's known about the 24/7 compacts so far? Any pictures? I find the idea interesting if they keep the sa/da and the rubber grips. I like the slim feel of the grip too. Hope they don't screw it all up. I have a PT111 Mil Pro and love it but I'd love to have a small, compact 24/7.

Wish I could see more of the grip. Good looking though.

When looking on Taurus' website, it looks like the 24/7C is about 1/8" thicker, longer, and taller than the MilPro equivalent (in all directions). Though, I confess to only comparing the 9mm versions. Also, you get 17+1 in the 24/7 vs 10+1 in the MilPro.

They had a nice pic of one in the Taurus Tactical on-line catalog, sitting under the full-size 24/7.

I'm looking to get the 9mm MilPro (pt-111) next week, and truthfully like the smaller size.

Anybody out there familiar enough with Taurus to point out any advantages of the 24/7 over the MilPro's besides number of cartridges it'll hold? Looks like the grip on the 24/7C has some more undulation along the front, and deeper web in the back than the MilPro.

Is this a signal of discontinuing the MilPro line, in favor of the 24/7? If I were product line manager, I'd be tempted with the bad rep of the [very] old Millenium pistols and the accolades of the 24/7. (Of course, that's just more motivation for me to get one next week! :) )

I've not seen any 24/7 compacts, I'm more intrested inthe 24/7 long slides of which I've seen in 9mm, I'd want the .45.

The Millenium PRO has been upgraded to use the 24/7 trigger (big plus for me) and come with Heine sights (medium minus for me, the original Millenium sights could be replaced with fiber optic, so far none for the Heine, I hate the rear white bar). I've one in .40 S&W and like it alot, although I painted the rear bar black).

how many rounds does the 24/7C .45 hold? I'm looking to pick up a pt145 mil pro this week and would be interested in the 24/7C if the size was very similar to the pt145 and had the same or better features. has any had or handled both for a real comparison???

What Glock is the 24/7 compact equivalent to in size? I have a 24/7 Pro long slide and a matching BUG for it would be great.
