Like the title says, looking at a SW 52-1 and wondering if I should buy it. It HAS been used, but overall in really good condition. Comes with 2 mags and thats it (maybe a box or two of ammo). The slide and trigger are amazing, single action, .38 Wad cutter. (I also reload)

price is $650 but he said he had it for a while so is willing to work on the price

That would be a good price for a 52-1.

The Model 52 was built as a target pistol for the centerfire portion of the NRA Bullseye matches.

It is probably as accurate a factory built pistol as has ever been available. I find mine easier to shoot accurately than my Colt Gold Cup.

The 38 Special Wadcutter ammo has to have the bullets seated flush with the case mouth in order to work properly. As long as you have proper ammunition, you should be very pleased with a Model 52.
