All I can say is I've got a 66F that I'm dang happy with.
It has a real nice trigger.
Your friend should get two, that way there's one for you to shoot.

I have 4 Performance Center guns and love them all. Two revolvers and 2 autos. No problems or complaints at all.

I've put away my Performance Center 627 V-Comp for the most part in favor of the M66. The 627 just makes life too easy and I like a challenge.

I've had several PC guns - all great. My current favorite is the F-Comp - I love it. Dennis

I think I was fondling a F comp (I think) at a local shop who makes the grips on them they were so smooth and lean I want a pair for my mod 13 3". The grips were a nice smooth walnut with an exposed back strap and they were just a little longer than the grip frame.

I have the DPA version of their PC5906 and it's unbelievably smooth; a really nice double stack 9x19. I understand quite a few folks used these at the IDPA Nationals a few years back.

Does Galaco holster company have a web site? I am looking to get a small fanny pack style holster with wide belt.
I would appreciate any info
Thanx

Nope.. A friend in LA..
He's got 2 pythons, and was curious why he wanted to add a PC to his collection.
Tamara, anything "special" I should know about these guns? From what I remember, they are a bit on the pricey side?

Only problem about LA is the AG's "Approved List". Not all Performance Center guns make it to California. Friend is stuck with only a handful of models that are approved for sale. :(
Guns typically cost two hundred and fifty dollars more than a production model. For the money one gets forged parts with somewhat of an action job, special finish, a custom profile barrel and limited edition serial number.

Yes they are pricey, as they're usually made in limited runs. They do hold their value well, though.
What's special about 'em? It varies from model to model. My PC13 is possibly the nicest revolver I own in terms of fit and finish; it had a pretty sweet trigger, but the previous owner had the trigger worked over by a good 'smith anyway. My 3" PC627 has a good trigger, but no better than some of my old factory N-frames; it seems nobody wants to make a really light DA trigger any more. Also, the PC627 has less-than-perfect sideplate fit and (I just noticed yesterday, much to my chagrin) the barrel is canted about a degree or so to the left, when looking from the rear of the gun. Sweet; a $1,000 revolver and they can't line the barrel rib up straight. :scrutiny:
